Ensure you have the correct kit code number (068G2050 through 068G2059) before beginning the installation. Proper torque application is critical for valve performance.
Assembly and Torque Specifications
The installation requires precise torque application to ensure the valve functions correctly and remains sealed. Refer to the specific diagram for your valve model (TEA, TEAT, TEVA, or TEAQ) to identify the correct assembly sequence.
- Upper Torque Requirement: 90 Nm (66 lbf-ft)
- Lower Torque Requirement: 50 Nm (36 lbf-ft)
Follow the numbered sequence (1-7) shown in the diagrams to assemble the components correctly.
Components
The repair kit includes various seals and components. Note that specific parts are made of different materials (Aluminium or Fibre) and have specific dimensions:
- Part 1: Aluminium seal (Ø36 mm / Ø1.42")
- Part 2: Aluminium seal (Ø17.5 mm / Ø0.69")
- Part 3: Seal (Ø8 mm / Ø0.32" for size 20; Ø9 mm / Ø0.35" for size 85)
- Part 4: Fibre seal (Ø32 mm / Ø1.26" for size 20; Ø39 mm / Ø1.54" for size 85)
- Part 5: Aluminium seal (Ø26 mm / Ø1.02")
- Part 6: Valve component
- Part 7: Included in repair kit 068G2050 only
