This guide provides essential information for operating the Della 048-GM-48227 ice maker. Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, flat surface away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Maintain at least 10cm of clearance around the air inlets and outlets for proper ventilation. The ambient temperature must be above 5°C for the unit to function correctly.

Product operation

The ice maker is controlled via the LCD panel and three main buttons:

• ON/OFF: Powers the unit on or off.
• SELECT: Used to choose the ice size (Large, Medium, Small).
• SET: Used for clock and timer settings.

Self-cleaning mode

To perform the self-cleaning cycle:

1. Mix equal parts of water and vinegar.
2. Add the solution to the water tank.
3. With the unit in standby mode, hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds.
4. The unit will run the cleaning cycle automatically.
5. Drain the cleaning solution from the internal reservoir using the rear drain cap.

Timer settings

To set the clock and timer:

• Clock: Press the SET button once, use the arrow buttons to set the hour and minutes. Press SET to confirm.
• Timer: Press the SET button until the timer icon blinks. Use the arrow buttons to set the desired time.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, check the following:

• Low water indicator flashes: Check the water level and refill if necessary.
• Ice making performance is poor: Ensure the air vents are not blocked and the ambient temperature is not too high.
• Abnormal noise: Ensure the unit is on a stable, level surface.
