Quick guide from the manual

This air conditioner is designed for installation in standard double-hung windows. It uses R32 refrigerant, which is combustible; ensure the installation site is well-ventilated and free from open flames or heat sources. Always use a grounded 3-prong outlet and do not use extension cords. The unit must be tilted slightly backward (about 3 degrees) to ensure proper drainage of condensate.

Installation

Before installing, ensure your window width is between 23" and 36" (for 8000-10000btu models) or 26" and 36" (for 12000-14000btu models). The lower sash must allow for sufficient vertical clearance.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures efficient operation.

Removing the air filter
Removing the air filter
  • Air Filter: Check at least once a month. Slide the filter out from the front right side, wash with warm water and mild soap, or vacuum. Let it dry completely before reinstalling.
  • Cabinet Cleaning: Unplug the unit. Wipe the cabinet and front panel with a damp cloth using mild soap. Do not use harsh cleaners or wax.
  • Winter Storage: Remove the unit from the window, drain any remaining water, and store it in the original box or cover with plastic.

Troubleshooting

If the unit does not start, check if it is plugged in, if the fuse is blown, or if the circuit breaker is tripped. If the unit is not cooling, ensure the filter is clean, airflow is not blocked by curtains or furniture, and the thermostat is set correctly. If water is dripping inside, ensure the unit is tilted slightly downward toward the rear.
