This air conditioner is designed for window installation. Before use, ensure you have a grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not use extension cords or plug adapters. The unit uses R32 refrigerant, which requires specific handling and safety precautions. Always ensure the unit is tilted slightly (about 3 degrees) toward the outside to allow for proper condensate drainage.
Installation and assembly
Before installing, ensure your window meets the width requirements: 23-36 inches for the 8K model, or 26-36 inches for the 10K/12K models. Ensure the lower sash allows for at least 14.5-16 inches of vertical clearance.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, check the following:
- Unit won't start: Ensure it is plugged in, the circuit breaker is not tripped, or the LCDI plug needs to be reset.
- Not cooling: Check for airflow obstructions (curtains, blinds), ensure the filter is clean, and verify the thermostat is set correctly.
