Quick Start Guide

The DiO 84214 is a wireless chime receiver. To get started, insert the batteries into the unit, mount it in your desired location, and pair it with your DiO 1.0 transmitter (pushbutton, remote, or sensor). The device features 38 ringtones and 4 volume levels.

  • Remove the battery cover on the back of the unit.
  • Insert 2 x 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring the polarity (+/-) is correct.
  • Replace the cover.

Wall Mounting:

  • Drill a hole in the wall at the desired height.
  • Insert the included wall plug into the hole.
  • Insert the screw into the wall plug, leaving enough length from the surface to hang the receiver.
  • Hang the receiver on the screw.

  • To pair a transmitter, press the transmitter button.
  • If you hear a "Ding Dong" sound, the pairing process was successful.

Adjusting Tune and Volume:

  • If you wish to delete your pairing, open the unit and press the small button while the receiver is in pairing mode.
  • You will hear a double "Ding Dong" sound, indicating that the synchronization was successfully cleared.

Receiver does not sound

Check if the volume is set to 'mute'. Adjust the volume using the volume button.
