The DiO 1.0 1-Channel Remote Control is designed to wirelessly control DiO 1.0 receivers such as lighting modules, sockets, and roller shutters. It operates on the 433.92 MHz frequency and has a transmission range of up to 50 meters in open fields.

Battery replacement

If the remote stops working, replace the battery:

1. Open the small battery compartment located on the back of the remote control.
2. Replace the old battery with a new 3V CR2032 battery.
3. Ensure the compartment is closed securely.

Warning: Keep batteries out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

Pairing with a receiver

To link the remote control to a DiO 1.0 receiver (module, socket, etc.):

1. Connect the receiver to the power supply.
2. Bring the remote control close to the receiver.
3. Press the 'learn' button on the receiver (refer to the specific receiver's manual for the button location). The receiver's LED will flash.
4. Press the 'I' (ON) button on the remote control.
5. The lamp or device connected to the receiver will flash twice to confirm the successful pairing, and the receiver's LED will stop flashing.

Unlinking a receiver

If you need to remove a receiver from the remote's memory:

1. Bring the remote control close to the receiver you wish to remove.
2. Press the 'learn' button on the receiver. The receiver's LED will flash.
3. Press the 'OFF' (O) button on the remote control.
4. The lamp or device will flash twice to confirm the deletion, and the receiver's LED will stop flashing.

Operation

ON/OFF Control: Press the 'I' button once to turn the device on, or the 'O' button once to turn it off.

Dimmer Function: (Only applicable if using a dimmer module, socket, or bulb):

• Press the 'I' button twice to start increasing/decreasing brightness.
• Press 'I' again to stop the adjustment.
• When turning off with the 'O' button, the receiver will remember the last selected brightness level.

Troubleshooting

If the receiver does not activate when pressing the remote:

• Check the battery polarity and charge level.
• Ensure the remote is correctly paired with the receiver.
• Verify the receiver is properly connected to power.
• Check the status of the receiver's memory (refer to the receiver's manual).
• Note that walls and existing wireless environments can reduce the 50m transmission range.
