This document provides instructions for the Draper 6" Clip-On Fan (Stock No. 08710). The fan is designed for air circulation in home or office environments. Before use, ensure the fan is placed on a firm, stable surface and that the power supply matches the 230V rating. Always disconnect the power before performing any adjustments or cleaning.

Technical Description

The fan consists of the following main components:

• Clip-on base: The primary stand for the fan.
• Tilt adjustment knob: Allows for vertical angle adjustment.
• Front and Rear grilles: Protective covers for the blades.
• Speed control knob: Located on the rear of the fan.
• Spring clip: Used for attaching the fan to surfaces.

Assembly

1. Joining fan with clip: Attach the spring assembly to the fan body using the tilt adjustment knob.
2. Using clip-on base: Firmly press the rear of the clip and engage it in the slot of the base. Ensure the clip is correctly positioned.
3. Using spring clip: Firmly press the rear of the clip and clamp it to a firm, stable surface. Ensure the fan is secure to prevent it from falling.

Operation

Speed Control

The speed is controlled by rotating the knob located on the rear of the fan:

• 0: OFF
• 1: LOW
• 2: HIGH

Tilting Fan

The air flow can be adjusted upward or downward by loosening the tilt adjustment knob, adjusting the vertical angle as desired, and re-tightening the knob securely.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Warning: Ensure the fan is switched off and disconnected from the mains before removing the grille.

1. Disassemble the fan by carefully removing the front protective grille to access the fan blade.
2. Clean components with a dry or damp soft cloth. Do not use detergents or sprays, as these will damage the motor/switch assembly.
3. Ensure the protective grille is securely in place before using the fan after cleaning.
