Installation and Gas Connection

Before use, ensure the heater is placed on a level, stable, and non-flammable surface. The gas supply hose is factory-mounted to the pressure regulator. When connecting to the gas bottle:

Connecting the gas supply hose
Connecting the gas supply hose
  • Ensure the gas bottle is full and contains propane or butane.
  • Connect the pressure regulator to the gas bottle, tightening the nut firmly by hand.
  • Connect the gas supply hose to the heater (note: left-hand thread).
  • Always perform a gas leakage test before ignition.

Gas Leakage Test

A leak test must be performed during installation, after changing a gas bottle, and after storage. Never use fire to check for leaks.

Leak test procedure
Leak test procedure
  1. Prepare a soap solution (one part liquid soap, one part water).
  2. Apply the solution to all gas connections using a spray bottle, brush, or cloth.
  3. Open the gas supply. If bubbles form, a leak is present.
  4. If a leak is found, close the gas supply, tighten the connection, and re-test. If bubbles persist, contact your supplier.

Operation

To ignite the heater:

Ignition procedure
Ignition procedure
  1. Open the gas tap on the gas bottle.
  2. Plug the heater into a grounded 220-240V socket and set the power switch to I (ON).
  3. Wait for the ventilator to run steadily.
  4. Press and hold the gas valve button for 10 seconds.
  5. While holding the valve, press the ignition button repeatedly until the gas ignites.
  6. Continue holding the gas valve button for another 15 seconds after ignition, then release.

To switch off: Close the gas tap on the bottle, wait for the flame to extinguish, then set the power switch to O (OFF) and unplug the unit.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always switch off, unplug, and allow the heater to cool before maintenance. Keep the grills and ventilator blades clean by removing dust regularly. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaners. The heater should be inspected by a qualified person at least once a year.

Practical help

Common problems

Heater fails to ignite

Check gas supply, ensure gas tap is open, and repeat the ignition sequence. If it fails after three attempts, stop to avoid explosion hazard and contact your dealer.

Gas leak detected

Immediately close the gas tap, extinguish all flames, ventilate the area, and perform a leak test with soap solution.

Flame goes out during operation

Check for sufficient ventilation, ensure the gas bottle is not empty, and check for overheating.

Before use

  • Ensure the room is well-ventilated (min 300 cm² opening).
  • Keep flammable materials at least 2.5m away (3m from front).
  • Check gas hose and regulator for damage.
  • Ensure gas bottle is full and contains propane or butane.
  • Place heater on a level, stable, non-flammable surface.
