Quick Guide

The Goldair Platinum 100cm Multi Season 3n1 Bladeless Tower Heater & Fan is designed for indoor household use. It features heating, cooling, and air purification modes. The unit can be operated via the included remote control or the Goldair mobile app. Always ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface with at least 1 metre of clearance from all sides.

Safety Precautions

• Do not cover: Covering the appliance presents a fire risk and will permanently disable the unit via the safety fuse.
• Clearance: Keep textiles, curtains, and other flammable materials at least 1 metre away from the air outlet.
• Placement: Do not use in small rooms occupied by persons unable to leave on their own without supervision. Do not place in wardrobes or enclosed spaces.
• Electrical: Use only the voltage specified on the rating label. Do not use with external timers or programmers. Always unplug when not in use.
• Handling: Do not use if the cord or plug is damaged. Do not use near water, baths, showers, or swimming pools.

Operating the Appliance

The appliance is operated exclusively via the remote control or the Wifi interface. Ensure the unit is in stand-by mode (plugged in but switched off) before attempting to pair or operate.

• Power: Turns the unit ON/OFF.
• Mode: Switches between Heating and Cooling modes.
• Fan Speed: Adjusts speed using + and - buttons. Cooling has 12 speeds; Heating has 7 heat settings.
• Oscillation: Toggles horizontal oscillation.
• Timer: Sets a countdown for the device to switch ON or OFF (1-12 hours).
• Air Purify: Activates the HEPA filter and UV lights to remove allergens.
• Child Lock: Press + and - buttons simultaneously to lock/unlock functions.

Wifi Setup

The device requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network to connect to the Goldair app. It does not support 3G/4G connections.

1. Download the Goldair mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Register an account in the app using your email address.
3. To enter pairing mode: Ensure the device is in stand-by mode, then press and hold the Power button for approximately 5 seconds until the Wifi icon flashes.
4. Use the 'Auto Scan' feature in the app to find and pair the device.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Cleaning: Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Use a damp cloth (not wet) to wipe the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners, petrol, or thinners.
• Vents: Regularly vacuum clean the air vents and grills to remove dust and fluff, which are common causes of overheating.
• Filter Replacement: The HEPA filter requires replacement after 600 hours of use. The indicator light will flash when replacement is needed.

Safety Features

• Tilt Switch: Automatically turns the appliance off if it is not in the correct operating position.
• Resettable Thermal Link: Disconnects power if the unit overheats. To reset: Unplug, wait 10 minutes for it to cool, then plug back in.
• Thermal Fuse: A non-resettable fuse that permanently disconnects the appliance in case of severe overheating.
