Appliance details

The CUBE™ barbeque is a portable charcoal grill. The dimensions for the barbeque only are 347mm (length) x 425mm (width) x 181mm (height). When using the bamboo tray and storage tray, the height increases to 230mm.

Operating instructions

This barbeque is designed to cook with lump charcoal or charcoal briquettes. Before cooking, ensure the cooking grid is fully located into the grill supports. Place charcoal into the fuel compartment according to the instructions. Light the charcoal using a suitable fire starter or taper. Wait until the fuel has a coating of ash before placing food on the grill.

Cleaning and maintenance

To maintain your barbeque, follow these steps:

• After cooking: While the barbeque is still warm, remove scraps from the grill using a scraper.
• Cleaning: Once cooled, remove the cooking grid and clean it in hot soapy water. Clean the interior of the charcoal chamber and chassis with mild detergent and a sponge.
• Drying: Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning to prevent rusting.
• Storage: Store in a dry place. If stored outdoors, keep the barbeque under a cover.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with ignition or performance, check the following:

• Fuel not igniting: Check if charcoal starters are working. Ensure the fuel is not damp and is distributed correctly in the charcoal chamber.
• Poor performance: Ensure the barbeque is clean and ash is not blocking the charcoal grid.
• Environmental factors: Cold, windy, or wet conditions can affect ignition. Move the barbeque to a more suitable location if necessary.
