The FBT VERTUS CLA 203T and 204T are point source loudspeakers designed for professional audio applications. The VERTUS CLA 203T is IP55 certified, making it suitable for outdoor installations, while the VERTUS CLA 204T is IP21C certified and intended for indoor use only. Both models require an external DSP processor with official FBT presets to ensure sound balance and transducer reliability.
Safety Precautions
- Never install or connect the loudspeakers when the line is live, as voltages can reach 100V.
- Ensure the mounting surface can support the combined weight of the speaker and bracket.
- Use only original FBT suspension accessories.
- Do not route loudspeaker lines alongside mains or low-level signal cables to avoid inductive interference.
- Always use a secondary safety system for suspended installations.
Installation
The loudspeakers can be mounted using the optional WM-23 directional wall mount.
WM-23 Installation
- Use the provided cardboard template to mark the four fixing points on the wall.
- Fix the wall part of the bracket using M5 screws.
- Attach the speaker part of the bracket to the loudspeaker.
- Hook the speaker system onto the wall bracket and tighten the joint screw.
- Use the M4 x 10 screws provided to attach the safety cable.
Angle Adjustment: Loosen the rotation lock screw (A) to set the desired angle (0° to 45°), then retighten. Loosen the joint screw (B) to adjust the horizontal angle, then retighten.
Connections
Audio connections are made via the ceramic terminal block located inside the protective enclosure (A). The terminals marked '+' and '-' allow for parallel connection of multiple speakers.
- Constant Voltage (70/100V): Select the desired power setting on the selector.
- Low Impedance: Select the 8 Ohm setting.
- Warning: Do not set the selector to 8 Ohm when connected to a 70/100V line.
Sound System Design
For wall mounting, install speakers at a height of 2 to 2.5 meters. The maximum distance between adjacent speakers should not exceed 5–6 meters in rooms up to 4–5 meters wide. For wider areas (8–10 meters), alternating installation on both walls is recommended.

Both models feature an extruded aluminum enclosure, a ceramic terminal block with a thermal fuse, and an internal crossover.
