Quick guide from the manual
The Flamma FC01 is a compact pedal combining a looper and a drum machine. It allows for independent or simultaneous use of both modules. Key operations include selecting modes (Looper, Drum, or L+D), recording loops, and selecting drum grooves with tap tempo control.
Top panel controls

- Footswitch: Controls recording, playback, dubbing, and stopping.
- Tap Tempo: Press repeatedly to set the drum machine tempo.
- Rhythm Style Selector: Choose from 16 drum grooves.
- Looper Level: Adjusts looper playback volume.
- Drum Level: Adjusts drum machine volume.
- Mode Switch: Selects between Looper, Drum, or L+D (Loop & Drum) modes.
Looper mode
In Looper mode, the pedal functions as a standalone looper with four states:
- Record: Press the footswitch once to start recording; press again to stop and begin playback.
- Play: Continuous playback of the recorded loop.
- Dub: Press the footswitch during playback to record an additional layer. Press again to return to playback.
- Undo/Redo: Press and hold the footswitch to undo or redo the last recorded DUB layer.
- Stop: Double press the footswitch to stop playback. Press and hold to delete the current loop session.
Drum mode and Loop & Drum mode
In Drum mode, only the drum machine is active. In L+D mode, both functions work simultaneously. To use the drum machine, select the mode, choose a rhythm style, set the tempo using the Tap Tempo button, and toggle the machine on/off with the footswitch. In L+D mode, the pedal provides a single bar of metronome clicks before recording begins to ensure timing.

Practical help
Common problems
In L+D mode, the pedal provides a single bar of metronome clicks; ensure you begin recording after these clicks.
Ensure you are using a 9V DC power supply with at least 210mA current. Incorrect power supply may cause damage.
Press and hold the footswitch to permanently delete the current loop session from the pedal's memory.
Before use
- Ensure the power supply is 9V DC and provides at least 210mA.
- Use a 6.35mm mono jack cable for input and output connections.
- Check that the device is not installed near heat sources or water.
- Verify the mode switch is set to the desired operation (Looper, Drum, or L+D).
