Quick guide from the manual

The Flamma FV05 is a compact recording pedal designed for vocalists and instrumentalists. It features 11 recording slots with up to 70 minutes of total capacity, built-in EQ, noise gate, and reverb effects. This document provides instructions for setup, recording, and signal management.

Device Description

The top panel includes controls for recording slot selection (SONG), noise gate (NG), playback level, and microphone tone settings. It features a control footswitch for recording operations, a guitar input, and both XLR and 6.35mm outputs. Power is supplied via a 9V DC 500mA center-negative adapter.

Connections

Connect your microphone to the MIC input and your guitar to the GUITAR IN jack. Use the XLR OUT for balanced connections to mixers or FRFR devices, or the 6.35mm OUT for unbalanced connections to amplifiers. Ensure the correct power adapter is used to avoid noise or performance issues.

Microphone and Effect Settings

To set up a microphone, connect it and ensure the LINE IN switch is off. Use the GAIN knob to adjust input levels. For condenser microphones, enable the 48V phantom power switch. The pedal offers three EQ modes (FLAT, WARM, BRIGHT) selectable via the TONE button, and an adjustable noise gate.

Recording Procedure

The FV05 features an auto-recording function that detects input signals. To toggle this, unplug the power, hold the footswitch, and plug the power back in. When active, the pedal enters standby mode upon pressing the footswitch and begins recording automatically when a signal is detected. You can record, dub, undo/redo, and delete tracks using the footswitch.

Hidden Mode and Reverb

Access the hidden mode by holding the TONE knob until the LED blinks red. In this mode, the NG knob adjusts microphone reverb, and the PLAY LEVEL knob adjusts instrument reverb.
