Quick guide from the manual
The Flamma FC11 is a compact envelope filter and dynamic auto-wah pedal suitable for both guitar and bass. It features a pure analog circuit. For optimal performance, it is recommended to place this pedal before any overdrive or distortion pedals in your signal chain.
Setup Instruction

- Connect a 9V DC regulated power supply (center negative, 20mA) to the DC IN jack.
- Connect your instrument to the INPUT jack on the right side using an instrument cable.
- Connect the OUTPUT jack on the left side to your amplifier or other pedals.
- Press the footswitch to engage the effect and adjust the knobs to your preference.
Panel Instructions
- True bypass footswitch: Engages and disengages the effect.
- DECAY: Adjusts the release and closing of the filter. Clockwise provides a longer decay.
- Q: Changes the Q of the wah effect. Clockwise creates a narrower frequency band with a higher peak for an exaggerated sound; counterclockwise creates a wider, more subtle effect.
- TONE: Adjusts the overall frequency range. Clockwise provides a brighter tone; counterclockwise provides a rounder tone, ideal for bass guitar. If SENSITIVITY is set to 0, this acts as a static frequency filter.
- SENSITIVITY: Adjusts the dynamic response to your pick attack. Clockwise makes the pedal more sensitive and easier to open the filter. A recommended starting position is 12 o'clock.
Suggested Settings
The manual provides visual references for four classic sounds: Funky, Vocal Sweep, Subtle Vowel, and Money For Nothin Filter. Note that the ideal sensitivity setting will vary depending on your specific instrument and pickups.
