This document provides essential operating and safety instructions for the FlinQ 125 mm 18V Angle Grinder. Always read the full safety warnings before use. The device is intended for cutting and brushing metal, concrete, or tiles without water. It is not for commercial use.
Safety instructions
- Always wear protective equipment: safety glasses, dust mask, ear protection, and safety gloves.
- Operate with two hands using the additional handle.
- Switch off and remove the battery before changing attachments, cleaning, or when not in use.
- Do not use for wet grinding or side grinding.
- Ensure the blade guard is securely attached and adjusted for maximum safety.
- Be aware of kickback risks; hold the tool firmly and avoid jamming the disc.
Battery and charging
The battery pack is not included. Use only the specified charger. Check the charge level by pressing the button on the battery pack. LEDs indicate the status: 4 LEDs (Maximum), 2-3 LEDs (Medium), 1 LED (Low).
Operation
To switch on, press the start lock button, then the ON/OFF switch. To switch off, release the ON/OFF switch. Use the speed control dial to adjust the rotational speed (Setting 1: Low, Setting 6: High).
Fitting/changing the disc
- Press the spindle lock button to lock the motor.
- Undo the clamping nut using the mounting spanner.
- Place the disc on the attachment flange.
- Replace the clamping nut with the raised side facing up and tighten.
- Run the tool at maximum speed for 60 seconds after every disc change to ensure safety.
Maintenance and storage
Keep the tool clean, dry, and free of oil or grease. Clean air vents regularly with a soft brush. Store in a dark, dry, frost-free, and well-ventilated place. Common problems
Replace the disc immediately.
Switch off the tool immediately and identify the cause of the jam.
Battery is too cold or too warm; allow it to reach a suitable temperature.
