Quick guide from the manual

This document provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of the FlinQ 18V Cordless Drill. Before first use, ensure you have read all safety warnings. The tool is designed for inserting/loosening screws and drilling into wood, metal, ceramics, and plastics. It is not intended for very hard materials like concrete or cement.

Device description

The drill features a keyless metal chuck, torque selection, 2-speed gear selection, rotation direction switch, and an integrated LED work light. Note that the battery pack and charger are not included in the scope of delivery.

Operation

  • Gear selection: Use the gear switch only when the tool is at a complete standstill. 1st gear is for screwing (low speed, high torque); 2nd gear is for drilling (high speed, low torque).
  • Rotation direction: Adjust using the switch. The middle position locks the on/off trigger.
  • Torque control: Adjust the torque selection ring based on the material and screw size. Use the drill position for drilling operations.
  • Speed control: The on/off switch allows for progressive speed regulation based on pressure applied.

Maintenance and cleaning

Always remove the battery pack before performing any maintenance. Clean the tool with a dry cloth and a soft brush for vents. Do not use aggressive chemicals. Store in a dry, frost-free, and well-ventilated place. For long-term storage, keep the battery charged between 40% and 60% and check it every 3 months.

Safety

Always wear protective equipment, including eye protection and gloves. Be aware that the tool generates an electromagnetic field, which may interfere with medical implants. If the tool malfunctions, stop use immediately and contact a qualified professional.
