Device description
The FlinQ Jig Saw 18V is a cordless tool designed for straight, curved, and mitre cuts (up to 45°) in wood, plastic, and light metal. It features a speed control dial, pendulum action selector, and an adapter for external dust extraction.
Battery and charging
The device uses a 20V battery pack (not included). To check the charge level, press the button on the battery; 4 LEDs indicate maximum charge, while 1 LED indicates low charge. Charge the battery using a compatible FlinQ charger (FQC8516 or FQC8517). Red LED indicates charging, green indicates fully charged.
Installing the saw blade
- Switch off the device and remove the battery.
- Turn the chuck release as far as possible and hold it.
- Insert the T-shank saw blade into the chuck, ensuring the back of the blade sits in the guide roller notch.
- Release the chuck and ensure the blade is secure with teeth pointing in the cutting direction.
Operation and settings
- Cutting speed: Use the speed control dial (1-6) to adjust oscillation speed.
- Pendulum action: Set the selector to one of 4 positions, ranging from no pendulum motion to large pendulum motion.
- Bevel cutting: Use the Allen key to loosen the hexagon socket screws, adjust the base plate to the desired angle (-45° to 45°), and re-tighten.
- Dust extraction: Disable the dust blower function before connecting an external extraction system to the nozzle.
Safety and maintenance
Always wear protective gear, including safety glasses, ear protection, and a dust mask. Keep venting slots clear to prevent motor overheating. Before and after use, inspect the tool for wear. Store in a dry, frost-free place inaccessible to children. For repairs, contact an authorized service center.

Hold the chuck release and manually pull the blade out of the chuck.
