This document provides essential instructions for the FlinQ Battery Charger Dock 18V (FQC8518). It is designed exclusively for charging specific FlinQ battery packs (FQC8516 2.0 Ah and FQC8517 4.0 Ah) in dry indoor environments. Always ensure the battery surface is clean and dry before charging.
Operation
To charge the battery pack:
- Insert the battery pack into the charger.
- Connect the charger's mains plug to a power socket.
- Once fully charged, remove the battery pack from the charger, then disconnect the charger from the power source.
LED Status Indicators:
- Red LED lights up: Battery is charging.
- Green LED lights up: Battery is fully charged.
- Green and red LED flashing: Battery pack is defective.
- Red LED flashing: Battery is too cold or too warm.
- Green LED lights up (no battery): Charger is ready.
Safety and Maintenance
Safety Warnings:
- Use only in dry indoor rooms.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Protect the charger and battery from moisture, fire, and extreme heat (max 45°C).
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified service agent.
Cleaning:
- Keep the charger clean, dry, and free from oil or grease.
- Use a dry cloth and a soft brush for cleaning.
- Ensure air vents are kept clear after every use.
