This document provides essential instructions for the safe operation and maintenance of the FlinQ Brushed Lawn Mover 18V. The device is intended for private home use only. Always ensure the battery is removed before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or adjustments.
Assembly
- Attach the lower handle to the unit body and lock it with a bolt.
- Connect the upper and lower handle tubes using the locking knob; ensure the cable clamp is attached.
- Assemble the grass catcher bag.
- Open the rear cover and attach the grass catcher bag to the mower.
Battery and Charging
The battery pack is not included. To charge, insert the battery into the charger and connect to a power socket. The charging status is indicated by LEDs: red means charging, green means fully charged, and flashing red/green indicates a defective battery.
Operation
Before starting, ensure the battery is fully charged and the safety key is inserted. To start: push the safety button and hold the gear levers. The motor stops immediately when the switch is released. Always mow across slopes, never up and down, and avoid wet grass.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regularly clean the air vents and the mower body with a dry cloth or soft brush. Do not use aggressive detergents. Before storage, clean the unit and store it in a dry, frost-free place. Check the blade periodically for balance and sharpness; if sharpening is required, ensure the blade is balanced to prevent vibration.
Safety
Always wear protective gear, including safety glasses and ear protection. Keep children and animals away during operation. Do not use the mower in rain or on excessively steep slopes. If the mower vibrates abnormally, stop immediately and inspect for damage.

Excessive vibration
Check if the blade is balanced. An unbalanced blade causes vibration.
Battery not charging
Check if the battery is too cold or too warm (indicated by flashing red LED) or if the battery is defective (flashing red and green LED).
Mower does not start
Ensure the battery is fully charged, the safety key is inserted, and the switch lock button is pressed before pulling the gear levers.

- Check that all parts are included.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Inspect the area for stones, wires, or other foreign objects.
- Verify that the blade and blade assembly are not worn or damaged.
