Quick guide from the manual
This document outlines the mandatory Code of Conduct for all Fronius Italy S.R.L. employees, including white- and blue-collar staff, apprentices, interns, and leased personnel. It establishes the ethical framework for business operations, requiring all staff to act responsibly, legally, and in the best interest of the company. Compliance is mandatory, and managers are responsible for ensuring their teams are trained and adhere to these standards.
Core Values and Responsibilities
Fronius operates based on values including Community, Innovation, Creativity, Sustainability, Quality Awareness, and Cost Effectiveness. Every employee is individually responsible for implementing these principles. When interpreting rules, employees must use their own judgment regarding ethical behavior, though legal regulations always take precedence over personal discretion.
Business Conduct and Competition
Fronius is committed to fair competition. Employees must avoid any actions that restrict free competition or violate antitrust laws. Prohibited activities include price-fixing, market division, sharing confidential information with competitors, and collusive tendering. Purchasing decisions must be based solely on quality, deadlines, and price.
Anti-Corruption and Integrity
Corruption, bribery, and money laundering are strictly prohibited. Employees are forbidden from granting or accepting benefits that could create obligations or influence business activities. This includes cash, vouchers, or other intangible benefits, excluding gifts of minimal value or standard business hospitality.
Conflicts of Interest
Employees must act solely in the interest of the company. Any current or potential conflict of interest must be disclosed immediately to a direct line manager. Outside employment requires prior written permission from the line manager and HR. Economic involvement with competitors or business partners is forbidden.
Handling Company Information
Confidential information, including financial data, contracts, and technical data, is for internal use only. Employees must protect Fronius's intellectual property and maintain strict confidentiality even after their employment ends. External partners must sign non-disclosure agreements when necessary.
Reporting Misconduct
Employees are required to report any identified breaches of laws or internal directives. Reports can be made to a direct line manager or the Managing Director, Mr. Pinori Alberto, at [email protected]. The company guarantees that employees reporting misconduct in good faith will not suffer any negative consequences.
