Safety Instructions

  • Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other similar sources of heat.
  • Do not secure the wiring with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks.
  • Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or any wire.
  • Keep out of reach of small children; this is an electric product, not a toy.
  • Do not hang ornaments or other objects from the cord, wire, or light string.
  • Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords to avoid damaging wire insulation.
  • Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product when in use.

Installation and Usage

When placing the product on a tree, ensure the tree is well-maintained, fresh, and stable. Keep the tree holder filled with water. Use the included clear nylon string to hang the ornament ball. The weight of the ornament ball should be supported only by the clear nylon string, not by the plug or plug cord. Tie the ornament ball to tree branches, porch overhangs, gutters, or eaves to create a decorative effect.

Before changing bulbs, ensure the set is unplugged. Do not twist the bulbs.

  1. Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle.
  2. Hold the bulb by the plastic base and pull the bulb/base straight out of the socket.
  3. Replace the lamp with a 2.5 Volt, 0.425 Watt regular brightness midget push-in type lamp provided with the product.
  4. Push the spare bulb/base assembly into the socket.

If the spare bulbs provided have no plastic base or the base does not fit, remove the old bulb by straightening the bulb wires and pulling it from the base. Insert the new bulb by straightening the leads, aiming each wire into a separate hole in the plastic base, and ensuring the leads come out the exit opening at the bottom. Bend each lead up against the narrow side of the plastic base.

Fuse Replacement

If the fuse blows, it usually indicates an overload or short-circuit. Unplug the product and any additional strings attached to it.
