This document provides essential safety and maintenance instructions for the GE Lighting 89011 LED Woodland Star Tree Top. This product is intended for indoor use only. Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, burns, and electric shock, follow these precautions:
- This product is for indoor use only.
- Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other heat sources.
- Do not secure the wiring with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks.
- Unplug the product when leaving the house, retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
- Do not hang ornaments or other objects from the cord, wire, or light string.

- Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material when in use.
Use and Care
- If placing on a live tree, ensure the tree is well-maintained, fresh, and stable. Keep the tree holder filled with water.
- Before using or reusing, inspect the product carefully. Discard any product with cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation, cracks in lampholders, or loose connections.
- When storing, remove the product carefully from branches to avoid strain on conductors. Store in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
User Servicing Instructions
Replacing the Fuse
If the fuse blows, it indicates an overload or short-circuit. Unplug the product and any connected strings before replacing.
- Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
- Using a flathead screwdriver, slide open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the blades.
- Remove the fuses carefully.
- Replace the fuse only with a 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided with the product).
- Slide the fuse access cover closed.
Replacing the Lamp
- Unplug the product.
- Grasp the lamp and plastic base and pull straight out of the lampholder.
- Replace the lamp with a 3.3 Volt, 0.066 Watt LED type lamp (provided with the product).
- If the new lamp base does not fit, remove the base of the burned-out lamp by straightening the leads and pulling the lamp out. Thread the leads of the new lamp through the holes in the old base, insert, and bend the leads up to touch the contacts.

Fuse blown

Lamp not working
Replace the lamp with a 3.3 Volt, 0.066 Watt LED type lamp.
