This document provides essential safety and care instructions for the GE LED 1000 Lights (Models 23126LO and 24118LO). These lights are designed for indoor use only and are not intended for permanent installation.

Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, burns, personal injury, and electric shock, please observe the following precautions:

• Indoor Use Only: Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
• Heat Sources: Do not mount or place the lights near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other similar heat sources.
• Wiring Safety: Do not secure the wiring with staples or nails, or place it on sharp hooks. Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords, as this may damage the wire insulation.
• Operation: Unplug the product when leaving the house, retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
• Not a Toy: Keep the product out of reach of small children.
• Modifications: Do not attempt to replace lamps or modify the light string.

Use and Care

If you are using these lights on a live tree, please follow these guidelines:

• Tree Maintenance: Ensure the tree is fresh and well-maintained. Do not use on trees where needles are brown or break off easily.
• Watering: Keep the tree holder filled with water.
• Stability: Ensure the tree is well-secured and stable.
• Inspection: Before using or reusing the product, inspect it carefully. Discard any product that has cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation, cracks in the lampholders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
• Storage: When not in use, remove the product carefully from the tree or branches to avoid strain on the conductors and wires. Store in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
