Safety instructions

When using electrical products, basic precautions must be followed:

• Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
• Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other similar sources of heat.
• Do not secure the wiring with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or nails.
• Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
• Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
• This is an electric product, not a toy. Keep out of reach of small children.
• Do not hang ornaments or other objects from the cord, wire, or light string.
• Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords to avoid damaging wire insulation.
• Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product when in use.

Use and care

If the product is placed on a live tree:

• The tree should be well-maintained, fresh, and well-secured.
• Do not place on trees where needles are brown or break off easily.
• Keep the tree holder filled with water.

Inspection and Maintenance:

• Before using or reusing, inspect the product carefully.
• Discard any product that has cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lampholders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
• Do not attempt to replace lamps or modify the light string.

Storage

When storing the product, carefully remove it from where it is placed (tree, branches, or bushes) to avoid undue strain or stress on the conductors, connections, and wires. Store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
