Quick guide

This microwave is designed for domestic household use only. Always ensure the door and door seals are intact before operation. Never use metal containers, metallic utensils, or sealed containers in the microwave. Always leave a minimum of 30cm clearance above the unit and 20cm on the sides for proper ventilation. If smoke is observed, keep the door closed and unplug the appliance.

Assembly

1. Remove all tape from the interior.
2. Place the turntable support in the centre of the recess on the floor of the microwave.
3. Place the glass tray onto the turntable support, ensuring it is aligned with the turntable shaft.

Placement

The microwave must be used freestanding and not placed inside a cabinet. Ensure it is on a level, firm surface. Maintain a minimum clearance of 20cm from adjacent walls and 30cm above the unit. Do not place over a cooker or heat-producing appliance.

Control panel

The control panel features two dials:

• Power dial: Used to select the cooking power level.
• Timer dial: Used to set the cooking time (up to 35 minutes).

Operation

To cook food:

1. Plug the microwave into a suitable mains socket.
2. Place food in a microwave-safe container, cover it, and pierce the cover to allow steam to escape.
3. Place the container centrally on the glass tray.
4. Turn the Power dial to the desired level.
5. Turn the Timer dial clockwise to set the cooking time. The microwave will start automatically.
6. When cooking is finished, the microwave will ping. Wait 30 seconds before opening the door.

Defrosting

1. Turn the Power dial to the M.Low (Defrost) setting.
2. Place the food in the microwave and close the door.
3. Set the desired heating time using the Timer dial.

Cleaning

Always disconnect the power and let the unit cool before cleaning. Wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use steam cleaners, harsh detergents, or abrasive cleaners. Keep the waveguide cover clean and free of food deposits. If the interior smells, heat a bowl of water with lemon juice for 3 minutes on full power, then wipe clean.

Troubleshooting

If the microwave does not work, check that it is plugged in securely and that the mains fuse has not tripped. If the microwave does not heat food, ensure the door is securely closed, as the safety interlock prevents operation if the door is not fully shut.
