This document provides instructions for connecting your Goldair 117cm Tower Fan (Model: GPTF390) to the Goldair mobile app and integrating it with smart home systems. The device requires a 2.4GHz WiFi network for setup and operation.

App setup and pairing

Before pairing, ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. If your router uses a combined 2.4GHz/5GHz band, you may need to contact your internet provider to separate them.

• Download the Goldair app from the App Store or Google Play.
• Register an account using your email address and verify it with the code received.
• On the app home screen, tap Add Device or the + icon.
• Select your device from the list.

EZ Mode pairing

If the device's WiFi LED is flashing rapidly, use EZ Mode:

1. Ensure the device is in pairing mode (if not, hold the OSCILLATION button for 5 seconds).
2. Select Confirm indicator rapidly blink in the app and tap Next.
3. Wait for the device to pair.

AP Mode pairing

If the device's WiFi LED is flashing slowly, use AP Mode:

1. Change the mode in the app to AP Mode.
2. Hold the OSCILLATION button for 5 seconds until the WiFi icon flashes.
3. Connect your phone to the device's hotspot (e.g., SmartLife-XXXX).
4. Return to the Goldair app to complete pairing.

Operating the fan

Once paired, you can control the fan via the app interface:

• Power: Tap the Power/Switch icon to turn the fan on or off.
• Modes: Choose between Normal (standard), Natural (mimics outdoor wind), Sleep, and Child (3-hour cycle).
• Speed: Adjust the speed bar (1-3) in Normal mode.
• Oscillation: Hold the oscillation icon for 2-3 seconds to toggle.
• Timer: Set a countdown timer (1-12 hours) via the settings menu.

Smart scenes and voice control

You can automate the fan using the Smart tab in the app based on weather, schedules, or device status changes. The device is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. To set up, link your Goldair account within the respective smart home app and authorize the connection.

Safety and maintenance

Always turn off smart functions before leaving the house. It is recommended to operate Goldair devices only when someone is present on the premises.
