This guide provides essential information for the GRAM KS 3215-94 refrigerator. Before using the appliance, ensure it is installed in a well-ventilated area with an ambient temperature of at least 10°C. Upon first start, clean the interior and wait at least six hours before loading food. Do not open the door frequently during this initial period.

Description of the appliance

The refrigerator features adjustable door shelves, a bottle shelf, adjustable front feet, a vegetable drawer, a defrost water collection channel, and movable glass shelves. The temperature is controlled via a knob located inside the unit.

Installation

Ensure the refrigerator is placed on a level, strong floor. Use the provided spacers to maintain the required distance from the wall for proper air circulation. The door opening direction can be changed if necessary. Ensure the appliance is connected to a grounded socket protected by a fuse with the appropriate capacity.

Usage and temperature settings

The operating temperature is regulated by the temperature control knob. Settings range from 1 to 5 (or Min to Max), where 1/Min is the warmest setting and 5/Max is the coldest. The average temperature inside the fridge should be around +5°C. Adjust the setting based on the ambient temperature and the amount of food stored.

Maintenance and cleaning

The fridge compartment defrosts automatically. Thawing water flows through the drain channel into a collection container at the rear. Periodically check the drain channel to ensure it is not blocked. Clean the interior with lukewarm water and a mild solution of bicarbonate of soda. Avoid using sharp or abrasive tools.

Troubleshooting

If the refrigerator does not operate, check the power plug and the fuse. If condensation forms on the side wall, check the door seal and reduce the frequency of door openings. If the compressor does not run, wait approximately 6 minutes for the refrigerant pressure to balance.
