This document provides installation instructions for the Green Creative 15T8U6/8CCTS/HYB/C LED tube. This lamp is a hybrid model, meaning it can be used as a Type A (direct replacement using existing ballast) or Type B (bypass installation wired directly to line voltage) lamp. Always verify that the luminaire voltage is 120-277V before installation. This product is suitable for damp locations but is not intended for use with emergency exit fixtures or luminaires that use a remote starter.
Safety Warnings
- Risk of Fire/Electric Shock: Installation requires knowledge of luminaire electrical systems. If not qualified, do not attempt installation.
- Power Off: Always disconnect power at the source before installation, inspection, or removal. Do not simply switch off the fixture.
- Operation: If the lamp or luminaire exhibits undesirable operation (buzzing, flickering), turn off power immediately, remove the lamp, and contact the manufacturer.
- Modifications: Do not make or alter any open holes in the enclosure of wiring or electrical components during installation.
Installation Instructions
Type A (Direct Replacement):

- Switch off power to the luminaire.
- Remove the diffuser (if provided) and remove existing fluorescent lamps.
- Adjust the CCT select switch on the lamp to the desired color temperature. Do not adjust this switch while the power is on.
- Install the LED lamp, ensuring pins are firmly seated in the lampholders.
- Switch on power to the luminaire and reattach the diffuser.
Type B (Bypass Installation):
- Switch off power to the luminaire.
- Remove the diffuser and existing fluorescent lamps.
- Cut all wires connected to the existing ballast and remove the ballast.
- Adjust the CCT select switch to the desired position.
- Follow the specific wiring diagrams provided in the manual for either single-ended or double-ended installation.
- Install the lamp into the wired lampholder.
- Affix the provided "Modification Sticker" to the luminaire.
- Reinstall the housing cover and lens, then restore power.
Wiring Diagrams
The manual provides specific wiring diagrams for different configurations:

- Single-Ended Installation: Suitable for non-shunted lamp holders. Follow diagrams 1-4.
- Double-Ended Installation: Suitable for both non-shunted and shunted lamp holders. Follow diagrams 5-8.
Ensure that all wiring connections are made using appropriate connectors and that no wires are exposed to sharp edges.

Common problems
Ensure the luminaire is energized, check all wiring connections, and verify that the lamp is properly seated in the lampholders.
Turn off power immediately, remove the lamp from the luminaire, and contact the manufacturer or a qualified electrician.
