Before first use, it is recommended to clean the kettle by boiling the maximum capacity of water once and discarding it twice. Operating Instructions

1. Filling: Remove the kettle from the base, press the lid release button, and fill with water between the Min and Max levels. Ensure the lid is firmly closed.
2. Boiling: Place the kettle on the power base and connect to a power outlet. Press the switch down; the indicator light will turn on.
3. Automatic Shut-off: The kettle will switch off automatically once the water has boiled.
4. Stopping: You can manually stop the boiling process by lifting the switch up or removing the kettle from the base.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always disconnect the appliance and let it cool completely before cleaning.

• Exterior: Wipe the body with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Filter: Clean the filter periodically by detaching it from inside the kettle.
• Descaling: If mineral deposits form, fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and enough water to cover the bottom. Leave overnight, then discard. Fill with clean water, boil, and discard. Repeat until the vinegar odor is gone.

Troubleshooting and Protection

The kettle features boil-dry protection. If the kettle is operated without water, it will automatically switch off. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool down before refilling with cold water. If the kettle does not turn off, ensure the switch is free of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed.
