This document provides instructions for the Hampton Bay 11IN Flushmount with Motion Sensor. Before installation, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker. The fixture features three operational modes (Dusk-to-Dawn, Motion, and Disable) and adjustable color temperature (CCT). The motion sensor has a detection range of 15 feet.
Installation

- Select a suitable location that can support the weight of the fixture.
- Pass the hot (black) and neutral (white) wires from the electrical outlet box through the center hole of the mounting bracket (AA).
- Secure the mounting bracket (AA) to the electrical box using the mounting screws (BB).
- Connect the hot and neutral wires from the J-box to the corresponding wires on the fixture body (A). Connect the grounding wire from the J-box to the green wire on the fixture base (A).
- Secure wire connections with wire connectors (CC) and wrap with electrical tape for added security.
- Tuck the wires back into the electrical box.
- Align the side slots on the fixture body (A) with the mounting bracket (AA) and rotate clockwise to lock the fixture in place.
- Restore power at the electrical panel and turn on the light switch.
Setting Features
Use the slide switch on the back of the fixture to select the desired mode before installation:

- Dusk-to-Dawn (DTD): The fixture turns on at 100% lumen output when darkness is sensed.
- Motion: The fixture turns on at dusk, dims to 30% lumen output until motion is detected, then boosts to 100% for 5 minutes.
- Disable: Switch-controlled only. In this mode, toggling the wall switch within 3 seconds allows the user to set the light level to 30% or 100%.
Adjusting Color Temperature
The fixture allows you to customize the color temperature (CCT) using the toggle switch on the fixture body (A) before installation. Options include 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral white), 4000K (bright white), and 5000K (daylight). The factory default setting is 2700K.
Care and Cleaning
Always disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. Avoid using liquid cleaners on the LEDs, LED driver, or wiring.
Troubleshooting
If the fixture will not light, ensure the power supply is on, the circuit breaker is in the 'on' position, and check for bad wire connections. If the fuse blows or the circuit breaker trips when the light is turned on, check for crossed wires or a grounding issue. If problems persist, contact a qualified electrician or Hampton Bay customer service.
