The Hilti NCT IS 025-A22 is a cordless, electro-hydraulic cutting tool designed for cutting copper (Cu), aluminum (Al), and steel (e.g., ACSR) cables. Before use, ensure all live cables in the working area are switched off or that appropriate safety precautions are taken.
Product Overview
The tool features a cutting head, a manual piston return switch, a casing, a servicing/fault indicator (red LED), a battery release button, a battery, slots for the Hilti retaining leash, a white LED for work area illumination, and a control switch.

Operation
Battery Preparation: Charge the battery fully before first use. Insert the battery into the tool until it clicks audibly into place.

Cutting Procedure:
- Rotate the cutting head to the desired working position (can be rotated 350°).
- Place the cable to be cut fully into the cutting head. Do not exceed the maximum cutting capacity.
- Press the control switch and hold it until the tool releases pressure, accompanied by an audible 'pop'.
- The tool will automatically return to its initial position after the cut.
Maintenance
Always remove the battery before performing any care or maintenance. Clean the tool casing with a slightly damp cloth and the air vents with a dry brush. Do not use silicone-based cleaning agents. Regularly check all visible parts for damage and ensure controls function correctly.
Safety
Always wear protective glasses. Do not use the tool in heavy rain or underwater. After approximately 100 consecutive cuts, allow the tool to cool down for about 15 minutes to prevent overheating.
