Intended Use

The tool is designed for cutting copper (Cu) or aluminum (Al) cables. It must not be used in heavy rain, underwater, or clamped in a fixed position. Use only Hilti B 22 series Li-ion batteries and approved chargers.

Operation

Battery Handling: Charge the battery fully before first use. Insert it until it engages with an audible click. Press the battery release buttons to remove it. The charge state is displayed after pressing one of the release buttons.

Cutting Procedure: Rotate the cutting head up to 350° for difficult access. Ensure the cable is fully inserted into the cutting head. Press and hold the control switch until the tool releases pressure (indicated by an audible pop). After approx. 100 consecutive cuts, allow the tool to cool for 15 minutes.

Maintenance and Care

Always remove the battery before maintenance. Clean air vents with a dry, soft brush. Use a slightly damp cloth for the housing; do not use silicone-based cleaning agents. Check all parts for damage regularly. If the tool malfunctions, contact Hilti Service.
