Product Overview
The Hilti DD 110-D is an electrically powered diamond core drilling machine designed for hand-held dry drilling in masonry. It is not suitable for drilling in concrete or reinforced concrete. The tool is intended for professional use by trained, authorized personnel.

Safety Instructions
Warning: Read all safety warnings, instructions, and specifications. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury. Always use the auxiliary handle and hold the tool with both hands. Wear personal protective equipment, including eye protection, a hard hat, ear defenders, protective gloves, and a dust mask. Ensure the workplace is well-ventilated and use a dust extraction system when drilling materials that create dust.
Operation
Before starting, ensure the tool is in perfect working order. The tool features a two-gear selector and a BI+ tool holder. For dry drilling, use appropriate diamond core bits. If using a dust extraction system, ensure the suction hose is routed to the rear and away from the core bit. The tool may be equipped with an optional TPS theft protection system, which requires a specific key to unlock.
Maintenance
Always unplug the tool before performing any maintenance. Regularly check all visible parts for damage and ensure all controls function correctly. Carbon brushes must be replaced by authorized personnel when worn. Use only genuine Hilti spare parts and accessories.
Troubleshooting
If the tool fails to perform, check the power supply, the PRCD (if applicable), and ensure the gear selector is fully engaged. If the core bit sticks, use a suitable open-end wrench to free it after unplugging the tool. For persistent issues, contact Hilti Service.
