Safety
Before use, read and understand all safety warnings and instructions. The product is intended for professional users and must only be operated by authorized, trained personnel. Always wear personal protective equipment, including eye protection. Ensure the work area is clean and well-lit. Do not operate in explosive atmospheres. Keep children and bystanders away. Ensure the battery is correctly engaged and secure before use. Never lift the product by the hydraulic hose. If oil leaks, stop using the tool immediately and contact Hilti Service.
Operation
Before starting, check the oil level at the filler neck. Ensure the hydraulic hose and the required tool head (crimping, cutting, or punching) are securely connected. Select the appropriate program using the rotary selector switch. Press and hold the non-latching rocker switch on the pump to perform the operation. If the piston does not retract automatically, use the manual reset button.

Maintenance
Always remove the battery before performing any care or maintenance. Keep the product and battery clean, free of oil and grease. Clean air vents with a dry, soft brush. Use only a slightly damp cloth for the housing; do not use silicone-based cleaning agents. Regularly check all visible parts for damage and ensure controls function correctly. If damage or malfunctions occur, do not use the product and have it repaired by Hilti Service.
Troubleshooting
If issues arise, check the battery status indicator. For problems not listed in the manual or that cannot be resolved, contact Hilti Service. Common issues include batteries running down quickly (due to low ambient temperature) or failing to engage with an audible click (due to dirty retaining lugs).
