This document provides assembly and maintenance instructions for the Holiday Living 4ft Flocked Potted Tree (Model 016-997-4R). The estimated assembly time is 15 minutes. Before starting, ensure all parts are present and inspect the product for any damaged wire insulation or loose connections. This product is intended for indoor and covered outdoor use only.

Assembly Instructions

1. Place the base (C) on a level surface near a wall outlet.
2. Insert the top section (A) into the middle section (B) and connect the wires.
3. Insert the assembled tree (B) into the base (C).
4. Plug the main power cord into an electrical outlet.

Safety Information

Important precautions:

• Do not use this product on live trees with brown needles or those that break easily.
• Keep the tree holder filled with water if placed on a live tree.
• Do not secure wiring with staples, nails, or sharp hooks.
• Do not hang ornaments or objects from the cord or light string.
• Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords.
• Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or other materials during use.
• Unplug the product when leaving the house, retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
• Do not install on trees with metal needles or branch coverings.

Maintenance

Fuse Replacement

1. Unplug the product from the outlet. Do not pull by the cord.
2. Slide open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug.
3. Remove the fuse carefully.
4. Replace with a 3 Amp, 125V fuse.
5. Close the fuse access cover.

Bulb Replacement

1. Unplug the product.
2. Pull the lamp and plastic base straight out of the lamp holder.
3. Replace with a 3.6 Volt, 0.072 Watt LED lamp.
4. If the new base does not fit, remove the base of the burned-out lamp by straightening the leads, thread the new lamp leads through the old base holes, and bend the leads up to touch the contacts.

Troubleshooting

If the product does not light up:

• One section does not light: Check each bulb; replace any broken or loose bulbs.
• Item does not light up: Ensure the power is on, check the extension cord, and verify the fuse in the main plug.
• Fuse blown: If the fuse blows, unplug the product and any attached strings. Replace the fuse; if it blows again, a short circuit may be present, and the product should be discarded.
