This guide provides instructions for the assembly and maintenance of the Home Accents Holiday 3ft LED Pelican. Before starting, ensure you have all parts listed in the parts list. It is recommended to assemble the product on a flat surface or table. Handle the lighting string with care to avoid damage.

Assembly Instructions

1. Assembling the Body: Align the two halves of the body (B). Insert the connecting rods on one half into the connecting holes on the other half and fasten using plastic ties (H).
2. Assembling the Legs to the Body: Insert the connecting rods at the top of each leg (D) into the connecting holes at the bottom of the body (B) and fasten with plastic ties (H).
3. Assembling the Head to the Body: Insert the connecting rods on the head (A) into the connecting holes at the top of the body (B) and fasten the body halves and the head using plastic ties (H).
4. Assembling the Wings to the Body: Insert the connecting rods on each wing (C) into the matching connecting holes on the body (B).
5. Assembling the String Light: Wrap the G40 light string (E) around the body of the pelican.
6. Assembling the Ground Stakes: Insert the ground stakes (I) over the metal frame at the front and back of each foot and push firmly into the ground.

Pre-Operation and Safety

Caution: Always grasp the plug to insert or remove from the power source; do not pull on the cord. The lighting string is rated at 7.2 Watts (0.06 Amps). Do not overload the circuit or connect to other lighting strings or electrical products. Inspect the product carefully before use for any cuts, frayed wire insulation, or loose connections.

Care and Cleaning

• Remove the product from its location carefully to avoid strain on connections.
• If placed somewhere other than the ground, ensure it is well-secured, flat, and stable.
• Disassemble carefully, ensuring no electrical wires are cut.
• Wipe the unit with a damp cloth and allow it to dry completely before storing.
• Store in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.

Troubleshooting

• Ensure the surface is flat and level.
• Check that the item is plugged in correctly to a wall outlet or UL-listed power cord.
• Verify all parts are assembled according to the manual.
• If the item does not light, check for loose or broken bulbs and connections.
• Check for a broken or burned-out fuse in the plug.
• If the item has multiple light string cords, ensure all are plugged in.
