This document provides assembly and care instructions for the 3ft Yuletide Lane LED Penguin with Candy Cane. Please read the entire manual before beginning assembly. The product is intended for residential seasonal use, with a maximum of 90 days per year.

Assembly Instructions

1. Assembling the Body: Align the two halves of the body (B). Insert the connecting rods on one half into the connecting holes on the other and fasten using plastic ties (I).
2. Assembling the Head to the Body: Insert the connecting rods at the bottom of the head (A) into the holes at the top of the body (B) and fasten with plastic ties (I).
3. Assembling the Feet to the Body: Insert the connecting rods on the top of the feet (D) into the holes on the bottom of the body (B) and fasten with plastic ties (I).
4. Assembling the Support Bracket: Insert the connecting rods on the support bracket (E) into the matching holes at the back of the body (B) and fasten with plastic ties (I).
5. Assembling the Wings and Candy Cane: Insert the connecting rods on the wings (C) into the matching holes on the body (B) and fasten with plastic ties (I). Insert the connecting rods on the side of the candy cane (F) into the matching holes on the left wing (C).
6. Assembling the Ground Stakes: Insert ground stakes (J) over the metal frame at the front and back of each foot and push firmly into the ground.

Pre-Operation and Safety

CAUTION: Grasp the plug to insert or remove from the power source; do not unplug by pulling on the cord. The lighting string is rated at 4.8 Watts (0.04 Amps). Do not overload the circuit or connect to other lighting strings or electrical products. Inspect the product carefully before use for cuts, damage, frayed wire insulation, or loose connections. If damaged, do not use.

Care and Cleaning

• Carefully remove the product from its display location to avoid strain on connections and wires.
• If placed off the ground, ensure it is well-secured, flat, and stable.
• Disassemble carefully, ensuring no electrical wires are cut.
• Wipe the unit with a damp cloth and allow it to dry completely before storing.
• Store in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.

Troubleshooting

• Ensure the floor or surface is flat and level.
• Verify the item is plugged correctly into a wall outlet or UL Listed power cord.
• Check that all parts are assembled properly.
• If the item does not light, check for loose or broken bulbs, connections, or a broken/burned-out fuse in the plug.
• Do not plug into other electrical items.
