Cooking Instructions

- Pre Heat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 160°C-150°C (fan/gas mark 2). Place a litre of water in an oven tray on the bottom shelf. Remove the meatball from packaging, rub with oil, wrap in tinfoil, and place on the provided baking tray.
- The Epic Roast: Place the meatball in the oven on a shelf above the water tray. Top up the water in the bottom tray if necessary during cooking to maintain moisture.
- Checkup: At the 5-hour mark, use a meat thermometer to check the core temperature. It must reach 75°C (UK & ROI) or 82°C (Scotland) and hold this temperature for at least 30 seconds. If not reached, return to the oven.
- Rest & Relax: Turn off the oven and let the meatball rest for 15 minutes. Use this time to prepare the cream sauce and mashed potatoes.
