The IKEA TILLREDA 2-Zones Portable Induction Hob is designed for domestic indoor use. It features two cooking zones with independent power controls, a child lock, and automatic safety shut-off features. Product description
The hob features two heating zones: a front zone (170mm, 2000W) and a rear zone (158mm, 1200W). The control panel includes an ON/OFF button, power level display, lock/child lock button, and power level adjustment (+/-) sensors.


Daily use
- Connecting: After plugging in, the child lock is activated. Press and hold the Lock key for 3 seconds to deactivate.
- ON/OFF: Press the ON/OFF key to enter standby mode. If no power level is selected within 30 seconds, the hob switches off automatically.
- Power levels: Use the - and + sensors to adjust power levels from 1 to 9.
- Lock function: Press the Lock key for 3 seconds to lock the control panel during operation or when the hob is off (Child Lock).
Cookware guidance
Only use pots and pans with a ferromagnetic base. Suitable materials include cast iron, enamelled steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminium with a ferromagnetic coating. The minimum base diameter for both cooking zones is 120mm.
Care and cleaning
Switch off the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning. Do not use steam cleaners or high-pressure cleaners. Use a scraper (not included) to remove sugar or plastic residues immediately. Clean the surface with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid after each use.
Troubleshooting
If the appliance stops operating, check the error codes displayed. Common issues include incorrect cookware, blocked air inlets, or power supply issues. Always turn off the appliance and wait 5 minutes before restarting if an error occurs.
