This document provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the Livarno Thermostatic Shower Mixer. It is intended for use with pressure-tight hot water systems. Please read all safety instructions carefully before installation.
Safety instructions
- Risk of electric shock: Leaks or escaping water can lead to danger to life from electric shock. Ensure all connections are leak-proof.
- Risk of injury: Ensure all parts are undamaged and correctly assembled. Seals are wear parts and should be replaced periodically.
- Risk of scalding: Ensure the water temperature is not set too high.
- Installation: Installation should be performed by experienced persons only.

Installation
Preparation: Turn off the main water supply before starting. Use a spanner or adjustable wrench, sealing tape, a cross-head screwdriver, and a cleaning brush.
- Install the tap at the wall connection.
- Wrap the S-connectors with sealing tape.
- Screw the nuts onto the connectors using a spanner or adjustable wrench.
- Connect the shower hose to the threaded connector and attach the shower head.
Flushing: Before first use, open the main water supply and allow water to run for 2 minutes to remove any residues.
Operation
- Water flow: Turn the water flow switch to adjust flow. Increase by turning upward, reduce by turning downward.
- Water temperature: Turn the water temperature switch. Raise by turning downward, lower by turning upward.
- Temperature limit: Prevents accidental setting above +38 °C. To exceed this, press the push button on the temperature switch while turning.
- Eco-stop function: Limits water flow. To increase flow, press the push button on the flow switch while turning upward.
Maintenance and cleaning
- Clean fittings with clean water, mild detergent, and a soft cloth or leather.
- Do not use corrosive or alcohol-based cleaning materials.
- To avoid limescale accumulation, unscrew the cartridge and clean it every 3 months.
Practical help
Common problems
Check that all seals are correctly seated and connections are tightened properly.
Check if the Eco-stop function is active; press the push button on the flow switch to increase flow.
The temperature limit is set to +38 °C. Press the push button on the temperature switch to adjust to a higher temperature.
Before use
- Turn off the main water supply.
- Ensure you have a spanner, sealing tape, and screwdriver.
- Flush the tap for 2 minutes before first use.
- Verify all seals are correctly seated.
