This document provides essential information for the installation and maintenance of the AXOR Montreux Bath Mixer (16554XX0). Always inspect the product for transport damage before installation. Ensure that hot and cold water supplies are balanced to prevent pressure differences.

Safety notes

• Wear gloves during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries.
• The product is intended for bathing, hygiene, and body cleaning purposes only.
• Avoid contact of the shower stream with sensitive body parts (e.g., eyes). Maintain an adequate distance.
• The product must not be used as a holding handle; install a separate handle if needed.

Installation instructions

Before installation, inspect the product for transport damage. Once installed, no transport or surface damage will be honored. Pipes and the fixture must be installed, flushed, and tested according to applicable standards. Observe local plumbing codes.

Maintenance

Check valves: The check valves must be checked regularly according to EN 806-5 and in accordance with national or regional regulations (at least once a year).

Secuflex hose: If the pull-out function becomes difficult over time, repeat the cleaning process as described in the maintenance section.

Cleaning

Use the QuickClean system to remove lime scale by simply rubbing over the spray nozzles. Do not use silicone containing acetic acid.
