Product Overview

The MAUL Global Parcel Wagon is a precision weighing scale designed for accurate measurements. It features a user-friendly interface with tare functionality and supports both kg and lb units.

Setup and Operation

To begin, insert two 1.5V AAA batteries into the compartment on the base plate, ensuring correct polarity. Place the scale on a flat, stable, and horizontal surface for accurate readings.

  • Weighing: Press the TARE ON/OFF key. Wait for the display to show zero before placing the item on the scale.
  • Tare Function: Place an empty container on the scale and press TARE ON/OFF to reset to zero. Add the contents to see only the net weight.
  • Switching Units: Use the mode key on the underside of the scale to toggle between kg and lb.
  • Turning Off: Hold the TARE ON/OFF key. The scale features an automatic shut-off after 3 minutes of inactivity.

User Calibration

If necessary, the scale can be recalibrated. Ensure the scale is set to kg. Press the mode key four times quickly and hold. Follow the on-screen prompts to place the required calibration weights (10kg, 25kg, or 50kg depending on the model) and confirm with the mode key. Ensure the scale is not subjected to vibrations or draughts during this process.

Troubleshooting and Safety

  • Overload: If the weight exceeds the maximum capacity, the display will show FULL.
  • Low Battery: If the battery icon appears, replace the batteries.
  • Electromagnetic Interference: Strong electromagnetic fields in the immediate vicinity may affect readings. The scale will function normally once the interference is removed.

Maintenance and Disposal

The scale is calibrated during production with a tolerance of ± 0.5% ± 1 digit within a temperature range of +5°C to +35°C. Do not use the scale for official trade purposes. Dispose of used batteries and the device according to local regulations for electronic waste.
