Quick guide from the manual
The MaxLiTe 0-10V Sub-G Fixture Integrated PIR Sensor Controller is designed for luminaire-level light control. It utilizes a 916.5MHz RF frequency to communicate with RF wall switches and supports daylight harvesting and occupancy/vacancy detection. Important: Read all instructions prior to installation. Ensure the device is installed by qualified personnel and maintain a distance of at least 20cm from the user during operation.
Product overview
This controller integrates a PIR sensor for motion detection and ambient light detection for daylight harvesting. It supports link and repeater functions, allowing for synchronization control of sensors within the same zone. All 0-10V luminaires connected to the signal are broadcast-controlled by the sensor.
Specifications
- Input: 12-24VDC
- Output: 0-10V signal, Max 25mA
- Frequency: 916.5MHz (Sub-G)
- Operating Temperature: 0°C to 45°C
- Relative Humidity: 8% to 80%
- Mounting Height: 2-6m
- Detection Area Diameter: 4-5m at 2.5m height
- Waterproof Grade: IP20
- Standby Power: Less than 0.5W
Installation and wiring
The device requires connection to a 12-24VDC power supply and a 0-10V dimmable driver. Follow the wiring diagram carefully to connect the input power (L/N/G) to the power supply, and the output (DIM+/DIM-) to the dimmable driver. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the system.
Operation and configuration
The sensor parameters and pairing with the wall switch are configured using the IR remote. Once configured, the sensor can control the connected 0-10V luminaires, and the wall switch can also control the luminaires connected to the controller. The system supports synchronization control for multiple sensors in the same zone.
Detection pattern
The PIR sensor provides coverage for both slow and quick movements. Slow movement is defined as less than 1.0 ft/s (0.3 m/s), while quick movement is greater than 1.3 ft/s (0.4 m/s). The detection area is circular, with a diameter of 4-5 meters when mounted at a height of 2.5 meters.
Safety and compliance
This equipment complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. It is a Class B digital device. If interference occurs, try reorienting the antenna, increasing separation between equipment and receiver, or consulting a technician. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Practical help
Common problems
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna and increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.
Ensure the sensor and wall switch have been correctly paired using the IR remote.
Verify the mounting height is between 2-6m; mounting outside this range will affect the detection diameter.
Before use
- Verify power supply is 12-24VDC.
- Ensure the connected driver is a 0-10V dimmable driver.
- Confirm mounting height is between 2m and 6m.
- Ensure an IR remote is available for configuration.
- Check that the environment temperature is between 0°C and 45°C.
