This document provides installation and maintenance instructions for the Philips Hue Turaco Wall Light. Ensure the power is switched off at the circuit breaker before beginning any installation or maintenance work. The device is rated IP44, making it suitable for outdoor use.

App setup

To use the smart features of your light, you must connect it to the Hue app. Follow the instructions in the app to pair the bulb. Ensure the bulb is within range of your Hue Bridge or another Hue device (maximum 20 meters between devices).

Installation

1. Preparation: Ensure you have a drill, screwdriver, and utility knife. Turn off the power at the circuit breaker.
2. Disassembly: Unscrew the housing of the wall light using the provided tool.
3. Mounting: Drill holes in the wall according to the base plate. Insert wall plugs and screw the base plate to the wall.
4. Wiring: Connect the power supply wires to the terminal block inside the base.
5. Bulb Installation: Screw the E27 bulb into the socket.
6. Reassembly: Place the housing back onto the base and secure it with the screws.
7. Completion: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Bulb replacement

1. Turn off the power at the circuit breaker.
2. Unscrew the housing of the wall light.
3. Remove the old bulb and screw in a new E27 bulb (maximum 9.5W).
4. Reattach the housing and secure it with the screws.
5. Turn the power back on.

Cleaning and maintenance

Clean the light fixture only with a soft cloth and water. Do not use chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these may damage the finish. Ensure the power is turned on only after cleaning is complete.
