This document provides essential installation and technical information for the Philips Projectline Batten series. The luminaire is designed for indoor use and must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical regulations.
Installation
The installation process involves mounting the luminaire to the ceiling or wall using the provided brackets. Ensure the power is disconnected before starting. The luminaire clicks into the mounting brackets. Ensure the wiring is connected correctly to the terminal block provided, using a cable with a diameter between 7mm and 10mm.
Safety and Maintenance
- The luminaire must be installed by a qualified electrician.
- The LED driver is not serviceable and not replaceable.
- The light source is not replaceable. If the light source reaches its end of life, the entire luminaire must be replaced.
- Do not install in corrosive environments where hazardous materials such as sulphur, chlorine, or phthalates are present.
- The device is sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
Technical Specifications
The Projectline Batten series is available in 600mm and 1200mm lengths with varying lumen outputs (1440lm to 3000lm) and color temperatures (3000K or 4000K). All models operate on 220-240V 50/60Hz power supply and have an energy efficiency class F.

Luminaire does not turn on after installation
Verify that the electrical connection to the terminal block is secure and that the power supply matches the 220-240V requirement.
Light source failure
The light source is non-replaceable. If it fails, the entire luminaire unit must be replaced.
Before use
- Ensure the installation surface can support the weight of the luminaire.
- Confirm the power supply is 220-240V 50/60Hz.
- Check that the environment is free from corrosive substances like sulphur or chlorine.
- Ensure you have a cable with a diameter of 7-10mm for the terminal connection.
