Before beginning the installation, verify that all kit hardware is present and matches the contents list. Ensure you have the necessary tools, specifically a 13mm socket or wrench. Important: Do not slide the running board onto the brackets during installation, as this can damage the finish. If the threaded inserts on the vehicle are difficult to use, thread an 8mm hex bolt through them first to clear any paint.

- 2 Running Boards
- 8 Mount Brackets
- 8 Double Bolt Plates
- 16 8mm-1.25 Hex Bolts
- 16 8mm Lock Washers
- 32 8mm Flat Washers
- 16 8mm-1.25 Nylon Lock Nuts
Tools Needed: 13mm Socket/Wrench.
Installation Steps

- Prepare Mounting Locations: Start on the passenger side of the vehicle and remove the rubber plugs from the mounting locations.
- Install Brackets: Hold the bracket up to identify the proper mounting holes. Loosely install the mount bracket using two 8mm hex bolts, two 8mm lock washers, and two 8mm flat washers. Repeat this process for all remaining passenger side brackets.
- Prepare Running Boards: Insert three double bolt plates into the channel on the bottom of the running boards.
- Attach Running Boards: Slide the studs of the bolt plates through the mount brackets. Install two 8mm flat washers and two 8mm nylock nuts on each mount bracket.
- Finalize: Adjust the running board to the desired position and tighten all hardware securely.
Torque Specifications
Ensure all fasteners are tightened to the proper torque specifications. Periodically check all hardware for tightness. It is recommended to check and retighten wheel hardware at 50 miles and again at 500 miles.

Common problems
Thread an 8mm hex bolt through the threaded inserts to clear any paint before attempting to install the brackets.
Do not slide the step onto the bracket. Align the studs carefully and place the step directly onto the brackets to avoid scratching.
