The Scheppach HD15 is a dust extraction unit designed exclusively for extracting wood chips. It is not suitable for fine dust or industrial use. This guide provides essential information for assembly, operation, and maintenance.
Device Description
The unit consists of a motor housing, a chassis with wheels, a filter bag, and a shavings bag. The assembly involves connecting the cladding parts, mounting the chassis, and attaching the filter and shavings bags.

Intended Use
The machine is designed for extracting wood chips. It is not suitable for fine dust. Do not use the machine to extract foreign objects like screws, nails, or plastic pieces. The machine is not designed for commercial, trade, or industrial applications.

- Always wear personal protective equipment, including safety goggles and a dust mask.
- Wear ear protection due to noise levels.
- Do not use the machine in damp or wet conditions.

Assembly


- Assemble the cladding parts (A, B, C) using the provided screws and nuts.
- Mount the axle and rollers onto the base plate.
- Assemble the side parts (D, E) and attach them to the cladding.
- Place the assembled cladding onto the chassis base plate and fasten it.
- Mount the motor housing onto the cladding.
- Slide the clamping strip through the filter bag loops.
- Insert the retainer rod into the housing, hang the filter bag, and secure it with the clamping strip.
- Attach the shavings bag to the lower air outlet using the clamping strip.
- Connect the exhaust hose to the housing nozzle and secure it with a hose clamp.
Maintenance
For constant performance, shake the filter bag vigorously from time to time. The shavings bag must be replaced when the shavings reach approximately 10 cm from the housing collar. Damaged filters and bags must be replaced immediately to minimize dust escape.

The HD15 features a 1.1 kW motor, an air flow capacity of 2000 m³/h, and a 130-liter shavings bag capacity. The total height with the filter bag is 1800 mm.
