Product Overview

The Sealey PC100 is a high-powered, lightweight wet and dry vacuum cleaner designed for vehicle cleaning and general workshop use. It features a 10-liter drum capacity, a 1000W motor, and a built-in blower facility. The unit is constructed from high-impact composite material and includes storage points for tools and the hose directly on the power head.

Safety Precautions

Electrical Safety: Always inspect power leads, plugs, and connections for wear before use. The use of an RCD (Residual Current Device) is recommended. Ensure the voltage rating matches your power supply and the plug is fitted with a 13A fuse. Never pull the appliance by the power cable.

General Safety: Disconnect from the power supply before any maintenance or accessory changes. Do not operate the unit without the correct filter, as this will cause motor failure and void the warranty. Never vacuum hot ash, cigarette ends, or hazardous substances like solvents, petrol, or acids. Keep the machine away from children and do not use it in the rain or damp conditions.

Assembly and Operation

To assemble, release the locking knobs on the power head, lift it off the container, and check the contents. For dry vacuuming, fit the reusable cloth filter over the filter cage. For wet vacuuming, remove the cloth filter and install the foam filter. Secure the power head back onto the container using the locking knobs. Insert the flexible hose into the front inlet port and attach the desired tool.

When wet vacuuming, do not fully immerse the nozzle; leave a gap for air inflow. The unit is equipped with a float valve that stops suction when the tank is full, indicated by an increase in motor speed. If this occurs, turn off the machine, empty the tank, and resume.

Blowing Function

The vacuum includes a blower facility. To use it, insert the flexible hose into the blowing outlet port located at the back of the power head. Ensure the switch is off before plugging in, then turn the unit on to clear obstructions.

Maintenance and Support

Regularly clean the foam or cloth filter in a mild soapy solution. Ensure the cloth filter is completely dry before reuse. Check the hose, attachments, and power cable for damage.
