The Sencor SSI 0810VT is a steam generator iron designed for home use. Before first use, remove all packaging and stickers, and wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth. To operate, fill the water tank with tap water (or a mix of tap and distilled water for hard water areas), connect to a grounded power socket, and press the main switch. The iron features electronic temperature control, eliminating the need to set specific temperatures for different fabrics.

Operation
Filling the water tank: Ensure the base unit is disconnected from power and placed on a stable surface. Open the filling hole cap (A7) and fill with water, ensuring it does not exceed the maximum mark. Never add additives like vinegar or descaling agents to the tank.
Turning on: Connect the power cord and press the main switch (A1). The indicator on the display will light up while heating. Once the thermostat reaches the correct temperature, the indicator remains lit. Release the iron from the base unit using the lock/release safety (A6).
Ironing with steam
The iron offers two steam intensity levels toggled via the SET button (A3):
- ECO mode: Standard ironing with lower power consumption.
- High steam mode: Maximum steam output for demanding or vertical ironing.
Hold the steam release button (A12) to release steam while ironing. For vertical steam, hold the iron vertically and move it from bottom to top while pressing the steam button.
Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning after use: Disconnect the base unit and allow it to cool. Empty the water tank. Wipe the soleplate and outer surfaces with a lightly dampened cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
Removing limescale: When the descaling indicator flashes, perform the Calc Clean procedure. Fill the tank to the maximum level, turn the iron on, and hold it horizontally over a sink. Press and hold the Calc Clean button (A2) while tilting the iron side to side until the tank is empty. Allow the iron to cool before storing.
Safety instructions
Always disconnect the iron when leaving it unattended, filling the tank, or after use. Never submerge the iron or base unit in water. Do not use the iron if the power cord or steam hose is damaged. Keep the iron away from children and do not iron clothing while it is being worn.
