The SIIG 4K60Hz HDMI 2.1 Capture Device allows you to record and stream high-quality video from PCs and gaming consoles. To ensure optimal performance, always use the USB-C cable included in the package and connect the device to a USB 10Gbps port on your computer. Ensure your monitor supports the required bandwidth for 4K@144Hz pass-through.
System Requirements
Before installation, ensure your computer meets the following specifications:
- Interface: USB 10Gbps Type-C port.
- OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)/11 or later; macOS 13/14 or later (max recording 4K@30Hz).
- Hardware (Desktop): Intel Core i5-6xxx or AMD Ryzen 5 1xxx or above; 8GB RAM (16GB recommended); NVIDIA GeForce GTX1060 or AMD Radeon RX570 or above.
- Hardware (Laptop): Intel Core i7-7700HQ or AMD Ryzen 5 3500U or above; 8GB RAM (16GB recommended); NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050Ti or AMD Radeon RX570 or above.
Device Layout
The device features the following ports and controls:

- 1. 3.5mm Headset Jack: Connect your headset for audio mix.
- 2. 4-Pole 3.5mm Gamepad Jack: Use the included audio cable to connect to a gamepad for party chat recording.
- 3. USB-C Port: Connects to the PC. Requires a USB 10Gbps port for 4K@60Hz recording.
- 4. OS Button: Press down when the video source is Windows or macOS to stop sending HDCP; push back otherwise.
- 5. HDMI Output: Connect to a monitor for video pass-through.
- 6. HDMI Input: Connect to the PC or game console video source.
Setup
PC Gaming Setup: Connect the PC video source to the HDMI Input. Connect the monitor to the HDMI Output. Connect the device to the PC via the USB-C port.


Console Gaming Setup: Connect the console to the HDMI Input. Connect the TV/monitor to the HDMI Output. Connect the device to the PC via the USB-C port. Use the 4-pole audio cable for gamepad chat.
LED Indicators
The top LED indicates the device status:
- Power plug in: Purple (1 sec).
- USB 10G speed: Purple (Working: Purple flashing).
- USB 5G speed: Blue (Working: Blue flashing).
- USB 480M speed: Orange (Working: Orange flashing).
- No Video: Blue and Orange flashing.
- HDCP Protected: Blue and Orange flashing.
- FW Update: Orange flashing.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, check the following:
- Recording 4K@60Hz: Ensure you are using a USB 10Gbps port. Note that macOS only supports 4K@30Hz recording.
- HDCP Protected Signals: The device does not support recording HDCP-protected signals. If you are using Windows with an AMD graphics card or macOS, press the OS button to stop the device from sending HDCP.
- Performance Issues: Always use the provided USB cable and ensure your HDMI cable supports HDMI 2.1 signal transmission.

Common problems
Ensure the device is connected to a USB 10Gbps port. macOS is limited to 4K@30Hz recording.
The device does not support HDCP recording. Press the OS button to stop the device from sending HDCP signals.
Try using a different HDMI cable that supports HDMI 2.1 and ensure you are using the USB cable provided in the box.
